Searching for your new home can be stressful. I know it was for us. I hated our home search. We fought about what was important, continuously changed our minds about our must-haves and had a realtor who really did not seem to care. They were pushy and all they cared about was us making a decision and buying.
I actually got into real estate because our journey was so bad. I decided that I wanted to make sure that whoever I was helping did not walk away feeling the way we did when the process was over.
I think I have done a great job at that. I am constantly learning and taking courses to better serve my clients so that I never unintentionally make my clients feel the way we felt through this process.
Whoever you decide to use to help you with your home purchase this is my two cents for what its worth.
Make sure they are the right fit for you. Make sure they understand your needs and are there to support you through the entire process. Make sure they know the area and community you are buying in. Your realtor should make you feel as though you are the most important person in this process.
This is the largest financial purchase you will ever make. Shouldn’t you hire the best person for the job?
